A figure in a workpaper is only as good as the reference behind it. Deixio makes the reference part of the figure: one number and one colour, on the result row, on the document and in the field list.

How a figure is read.

    Upload

    PDF, scans and images, Excel, CSV, Word, email and ZIP files, up to 25 MB each. Every TIFF frame becomes a page; ZIP contents and email attachments become documents of their own.

    One evidence layer

    Every page, word, sheet and cell is read into one evidence layer, each with a locator. Document parsers run in a sandbox.

  3. 03

    The AI points

    Anthropic’s Claude models read the figures and point at each one’s place on the page: the page, the box and a confidence.

  4. 04

    Code reads it again

    Code reads every value again at that locator. A claim the file does not hold there is refused, naming what the file does hold.

Three checks before a figure is used.

  • Read again at its place

    Each claimed figure is read again at its own locator. If OCR reads the box as another figure, the value is marked as conflicted.

  • The document’s own arithmetic

    Net plus tax equals the total, and the lines add up to the total. This catches a total that was misread in the right place.

  • Tables checked first

    For statement tables, the number format, scale, column headings and sums are checked before any figure is claimed.

Where code cannot read a figure itself, a stronger model reads it from the page picture, and the figure says so:

You decide how sure the AI must be.

Each figure the AI reads carries a confidence. Your firm sets the line, from 50 to 100 % (by default 80 %). At or above it, a figure is accepted by the firm’s rule. Below it, the figure awaits approval and carries a warning until you approve it, in one action.

The AI’s confidence is always shown apart from who accepted the figure.

Every document accounted for.

Each document and dataset in scope is either read, or listed as not read with the reason, before you approve the plan and again when it runs. Skipped or malformed lines are shown on the dataset, never dropped silently.

Originals are never rewritten.

Each upload is fingerprinted with SHA-256. Redaction only ever touches exports, and every correction is recorded in an append-only log.

Questions about evidence

Which file types can we upload?

PDF, PNG, JPG, TIFF, XLSX, XLS, XLSM, CSV, TSV, DOCX, MSG, EML, TXT, MD and ZIP, up to 25 MB per file.

Does the AI make up figures?

Code checks every figure the AI reads. A figure the page does not hold at the place the AI points to is refused, and the AI is told what the page does hold.

Can a reviewer see the source?

Yes. A citation opens the document at the exact page and box, in a side view beside the finding.

What happens to a document it cannot read?

It is listed as not read, with the reason, before you approve the plan and again at run time. Nothing is skipped silently.

Can we change the confidence line?

Yes. Your firm can set the line anywhere from 50 to 100 %. Figures below it wait for approval and carry a warning.
